I add to ‘Getting Directions’ in the order I think and write things.
Use any or all of these options to find your own way around, as best suits you:
- explore ‘Getting Directions’ by the order thoughts occur.
- explore by the emotions that thoughts arouse. Emotions are physical – deep-seated and unmoderated responses. (Feelings are separate – and are often led-by but sometimes clash with emotions.)
- explore the containers that I’ve found I’ve brushed my thoughts in to.
- simply search the site using whatever words you want to use.
Time’s precious, so on the ‘as thoughts occur’ page I offer an approximate indication of the length of items – the number of words and/or the minutes it would take to read (w/m). (I’m using the ‘average’ reading speed of about 130 words a minute.)
I try to create sketches of where my mind wanders. I’m sure I’ll get lost along the way but that’s part of being on a worthwhile journey. Know that I am happy digressing.
And if it all appears disorganised and messy, remember that none of us can live our lives according to a neatly packaged plot line. We only impose a fragile veneer of sense on it all.
